An
event to celebrate World Telecommunications and Information Society Day 2024
was organized by ECE dept of NMIT on 29th May 24. Shri M Sankaran, Director,
URSC Bangalore was the chief guest. In his address, he stressed on
self-reliance, team work, and precise communication. First tech talk was
delivered by Mr B K Mohan, Head – Telecom, L & T Tech Services, Bangalore
and he covered AI/ML approaches in 5G/6G networks. Second tech talk topic was
private 5G networks and was delivered by Dr. Dileep Reddy Bolla, Associate
Prof, CSE dept of NMIT. The event was attended by students and faculty members.
