How to access previous year question papers?

Why there is a limited stock of text books in the library?

In practical terms, it is quite improbable to furnish textbooks for every student, and, the collection would become obsolete as they lose their relevance considering technological progress. Renewal cannot be done when the book is in demand. Hence, students are expected to engage in extensive reading of supplementary materials in the library, rather than limiting themselves to textbooks.

What is the procedure for ordering books in the library?

Requests for books should be indented to the concerned subject teacher and will be approved by the Head of Department (HoD). After scrutiny of the requisition, the principal grants approval for the demand.

Can a student issue book on some other student’s card?

Library cards are nontransferable i.e. books cannot be borrowed using another student's card.

How books are displayed/organized in the library?

Text Books are displayed/organized according to the Dewey Decimal Classification system (22nd Edition). A standard, unique classification number is assigned to every subject, which is indicated on the book. For more details refer Subject List pasted on the Shelf.
