1.4 ANTI-DROWNING KIT WITH LOCATION TRACKER:

Safety of Human life in water

When a person is lost in the sea, trackers tend to follow a time-consuming procedure to save the victim’s life. To overcome the time delay of searching operation, the prototype developed helps to detect/sense the victim’s heart rate, the depth of water indicating the victim’s location, and surrounding water pressure. When the recorded value falls below the threshold value, an auto-deploy the airbag is riggered and the concept is useful when the victim is unconscious. An option for manual deployment of the airbag shall also be provided. Once deployed, the kit implements LoRa technology to transmit the victim’s data wirelessly to long distances. Upon receiving the signals, the rescue teams can initiate the rescue operation. The final analysis demonstrates that this kit will be very useful in ensuring one’s safety at the sea.
