The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering proudly announces the 23rd Outreach Program on "Basics of Remote Sensing, GIS and GNSS"

NMIT is recognized as Remote Center in association with EDUSAT Team, Geoweb Services , IT & Distance Learning, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing IIRS, Dehradun- ISRO, There are 64 universities across the country participating in this program. The department has organized six such Consecutive IIRS outreach programs and completed successfully. The objective of the program is to provide exposure in remote sensing and other related areas. The program provides opportunities for the students to internship and projects at Premier Organization and laboratories like ISRO, IIRS, RRCS, DRDO and HAL.

Finals in the National Level IoT Innovation Challenge 2017 organized by NASSCOM

Congratulations to Dr. Raghunandan, Professor, ECE department NMIT and team (Shashank (ECE), Dilip Sai (ECE), Shreyas (ECE), Arjun (ISE) and Akhil (CSE) for reaching the finals in the National Level IoT Innovation Challenge 2017 organized by NASSCOM. The team is among the top 15 teams in India (out of 113 teams participated)

This workshop is on the basics of system development and applications using Matlab and Xilinx EDA Tools. The workshop provides participants with an introduction to digital design tool flow in Xilinx. The speakers are from the industry and they would be introducing different domain specific applications such as video processing, image processing, and digital logic design and implementation. This is the first time a Technology Development Program is being organized by an engineering institute exclusively for students on these topics to enhance their skill set and make them industry ready.
