Research & Development

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering has infrastructure for R&D that is continually improving. R&D activities of the department include:

  • Fault-tolerant Flight Control
  • Flapping-Wing MAVs
  • Aerodynamic Performance Enhancement of Low Reynolds Number Airfoils
  • Setting up of Flight Simulation, Flight Vehicle Design and UAV Laboratories

Soon Project Proposals will be submitted to funding organizations like ARDB, DST (Department of Science and Technology).

These projects will be executed with HoD as the Principal Investigator, and the other faculty members as Co-Investigators or Team Members.
