The Study In India (SII) programme is a flagship project introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Under this programme, the collaborating Universities/ Institutions shall design the course curriculum jointly. Upon completing the programme, the Higher Education Institution shall award the degree and the collaborative University/ Institution with a single certificate/degree. Under the Joint Degree Programme, the student will appear for only one examination/evaluation process for each course, and the credits earned for the course(s) in an institution shall count towards the degrees jointly awarded by both institutions.
The student who opts for joint degree programs is an attractive hire for potential employers. This program showcases the ability of the individual to immerse in a new culture, to adapt to alternative teaching styles and the student's capability across interdisciplinary areas.
