Juan Manuel Corchado (born May 15, 1971 in Salamanca, Spain). He is Rector and Full Professor with Chair at the University of Salamanca. He was Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer from December 2013 to December 2017 and the Director of the Science Park of the University of Salamanca, Director of the Doctoral School of the University until December 2017 and also, he has been elected twice as the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Salamanca. Juan Manuel Corchado is Visiting Professor at Osaka Institute of Technology since January 2015 and Visiting Professor at the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.
Corchado is the Director of the European IoT Digital Innovation Hub and of the BISITE (Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems and Educational Technology) Research Group, which he created in the year 2000, President of the AIR Institute and has been President of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Spanish Chapter.

Dr.Hironori Washizaki is a Professor and the Associate Dean of the Research Promotion Division at Waseda University in Tokyo and a Visiting Professor at the National Institute of Informatics. He also works in the industry as Outside Director of eXmotion. He is advisor of University of Human Enviroments.
Hironori currently serves as President-Elect 2024 (and President 2025) of the IEEE CS to lead its activities and future directions. He has been on CS BoG since 2021. He has led professional and educational activities, including the evolution of the Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK) and organizing educational courses and certifications at the CS Professional and Educational Activities Board (PEAB). He was awarded Golden Core Member, Distinguished Contributor, and Spirit of the Computer Society Award from CS. He serves as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing (TETC), Steering Committee Member of the IEEE Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEE&T), and Advisory Committee Member of the IEEE CS flagship conference COMPSAC. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Professional Member of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu. He has been the general chair and program chair of multiple IEEE conferences, including ICST, CSEE&T, and SIoT/SISA of COMPSAC. Additionally, he has been the Chair of the CS Japan Chapter.

Alessandro Vizzarri received the master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, PhD in Telecommunication Engineering and Microelectronics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and a post-lauream diploma from the Superior Institute of Communication (Italian Ministry of Communication, Rome).He is a researcher in telecommunications at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He worked previously as Project Manager for the Radiolabs Consortium and a researcher at the University of G. Marconi (www.unimarconi.it). He also worked as a Consultant Engineer and Senior Manager for vendor, manufacturing, and consultancy companies operating in the ICT market, in particular wireless networks (UMTS/HSPA, LTE, WiFi,..), Broadcast Networks (DVB-S/T/H), Digital Transmissions, Multimedia Systems (IMS), Project Management. He has been the senior project manager of several European/international projects on ICT. He was the Professional & Career Activities Coordinator at the IEEE Italy Section. His research interests include Wireless and Broadcast Networks, Radio Network Planning, QoS/QoE, interoperability, 5G/6G, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), goal-oriented semantic networks, blockchain-based platforms, and applications, regulation, and standardization.

With a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mauritius (UoM), Dr Dinesh Hurreeram completed his postgraduation in Integrated Manufacturing Systems from the University of Birmingham and holds a PhD in Manufacturing Strategy from the University of Huddersfield,UK. He is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Mauritius (IEM) and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. Dinesh started his career as an academic at the UoM in the Mechanical and Production Engineering Department and later moved to serve as Head of Department and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. He has also been a consultant to numerous companies in the formulation and implementation of strategies for developing competitive advantages. In this context, he has authored several publications and presented keynote addresses in the field of business strategy and quality management in several international workshops and conferences. He has been the Chief Editor of the Journal of the IEM for 7 years. As Dean of Faculty, Dinesh has had an instrumental role in the internationalisation of engineering programmes at the UoM and has been part of the leadership team for Mauritius reaching signatory status to the Washington Accord.
As part of his professional commitments Dinesh has served as Chairperson of the Mauritius Accreditation Service (MAURITAS), been a Council member of the Mauritius Standards Bureau, Council member of IEM, been the Director of Business Development at Enterprise Mauritius, the Manager of the University of Mauritius Training Centre and President of the Academic Staff Union at UoM (UMASU). Dinesh took over the helm of the University of Technology, Mauritius in June 2022. His priority is to transform the University of Technology, Mauritius into a centre of excellence for targeted academic programmes, research and consultancy activities with focus on the needs of the economic sectors and the community.
