Achievement - He worked under the guidance of Professor Rick S Blum, a renowned expert in signal processing and Professor Hank F Korth, a leading Blockchain researcher and author of well known DBMS reference textbooks. His work, Blockchain-based Sensor Data Validation for Security in the Future Electric Grid, and is published in an IEEE conference, ISGT 2020 in Washington DC, this February, 2020.
Dolly Upmandewan of 6thSem.has secured All India Rank of 45 out of 80,000 registration in AWS Scholarship Exam 2020. She has undergone AWS Solution Architect Associate training from 18th to 20th June 2020 and the 6 hours Course on Cloud Practice for Essentials.
A project titled “Atlas Library System” by ETHGlobal -Hack Money, Global Hackathon by Aditya Vijaykumar of 2nd Sem. has won an International Hackathon Prize in terms of Sia Skynet’s top Bounty Prize worth $1400, in a first of its kind long Virtual Hackathon held from 24thApril to 24thMay 2020.
Sakshi Thakur, of 4th Sem. won the 1st Position in an Online Coding Contest “DEBUG YOUR LOCKDOWN HACK FEST-2020” By ISTE, Karnataka 7th and 9th May 2020.
The students of 2nd and 4th Sem. [Shreya Poudyal, Anshul, Harshitha P., Vaibhav Jamwal] won the Runners-up position at Girl GeeksHack, a Hackbout. They are awarded with honoratry student membership of IEEE Computer Society for the year 2020.
Yash Kumar, Kabeer Adlakha, and Anshuman Priyadarshi students of the 4th semesterCS & E along with two students from the Dept. of IS&E won a special prize and cash prize of Rs 10000/- at “Solve4Bharat”Hackathon organized by IISc, Bangalore held on 28th and 29th February 2020.
Mr.Abhyansh, Mr. Dhanraj, Mr. Amruth , Mr Bhavy Tolani, Mr. Nagavinay from 5th sem CSE secured position in top 15 in HACK for TRAI Hackathon and won Rs 5000 for giving solution to a problem statement “TRP DATA ANALYSIS” in October 2019 by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
Ms. AkankshaMS, Mr. AvinashRath and Ms. Dolly Upmandewan who are students in 5thsem of the CSE department along with Mr. Sarang Parikh a 7th semester student of ISE department jointly participate in the PESIT IEEE National Level Hackathon and were placed in the top ten out of a field of 100 participating teams. They evolved a solution for "Reducing queues at toll booths on Indian Highways".
Mr.PakkiAnoop, Mr. Gourav and Mr. ShreyAmbesh studying in the 5thsemestersecured the first place with prize money of Rs 30,000/-at the National level Block chain Hackathon conducted by IBM at JNU in September 2019.
Mr. AbhishekKedia and Mr. Dheemanth MD studying in the 5th semester of our department participated in a National Level Hackathon conducted by Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, Chennai on 13th September 2019. They secured the 3rd position out of a field of 100 teams. The prize money was Rs 10,000/-. They were supposed to devise a solution for detecting and avoiding “Tampering of Computer Components by middle men”.
Two of our 5th semester CSE students. Uday and Vibhuthi Kumar secured the second position in the National Level Hardware Hackathon organized by BMSCE on August 13th, 2019. The prize amount was Rs. 10,000/- . The participants were tasked with providing solutions for the problem of “Energy Harvesting and Sustainability”. Our students developed a prototype of Smart Solar Air Purifier in this event.
