Design characterization and fabrication of MEMS Microphone with signal conditioning circuitry for hearing Aid application

Prof. Veda Sandeep Nagaraja and Ms. Shylaja S are working on a project pertaining to low cost better sensitivity hearing aid. The project goals are to:

  • Design, Fabricate and characterize a MEMS Microphone for hearing aid application.
  • Overcome the present problems of poor sensitivity and directionality in present hearing aids.
  • Improve the sensitivity of the microphone at low cost

Development of low cost Copper-Oxide solar cells and modules by Magnetron sputtering & Effect of silver nanoparticles incorporation on the solar cell performance

Dr. Habibuddin Shaik is working on a project pertaining to low cost solar cells. The project goals are to:

  • Optimize single phase Copper-Oxide thin film with good photo-electric properties.
  • Optimize Zinc-Oxide and Aluminum doped Zinc-Oxide thin films with good photo-electric properties.
  • Optimize Silver nanoparticles areal coverage to have appreciable light absorption.
  • Fabricate of Copper-Oxide Solar cell.
