Innovation

As we look into 21st century, it is clear that India has the talent, technology and entrepreneurial resources to play a pivotal role in the evolution of the Aerospace Industry. In this context, innovation refers to an original or more effective way of achieving an outcome. Innovative work can have a significant impact on society or the market.

Students in the Aeronautical Engineering department are assigned projects that are impactful and that cut across technologies. The Aeronautical department serves as a catalyst for collaboration among industry, academia, R&D organizations and the Government with an aim to provide economically viable and sustainable solutions to the Indian aerospace manufacturers by promoting innovation, knowledge creation, entrepreneurship and dissemination of know-how.
